Tool storage

Every socket you own.
No empty air.

Sockets sit on a post that grips the drive square, so one tray fits every brand. Spacing is cut from the published outside diameter of each size, so nothing is wasted and nothing is left out. Size markings are molded in, not stuck on.

The problem

Fixed spacing wastes your drawer

A molded tray carries one spacing for every socket, because changing the spacing means changing the mold. That is why owners of every brand on the market say the same three things: there are large gaps between sockets, deep impact sockets no longer clear the drawer once a tray is under them, and there are slots for sizes their set never came with.

None of that is fixable in tooling. All of it is free to fix when the part is printed to order.

ODin trays are spaced per size. Each station is set from the maximum outside diameter published in ISO 2725 — measured at the hex end and at the drive end, because on a small socket fitted to a large drive it is the drive end that is widest.

Trays cut to the set you bought

No measuring and no guessing which module you need. These are laid out straight off the manufacturer’s own published parts list, so every socket in the set has a post and there is a post for nothing else.

More sets in progress — Husky 280-piece H280MTS, Kobalt 302-piece, Craftsman VERSASTACK 242 and 262, DeWalt 192-piece DWMT75049. Tell us which set you own and it moves up the list.

What you get

Four things a mold cannot do

Graduated spacing

Every station sized to the socket that lives in it. No dead air between sizes and no slot for a size you do not own.

One post, every brand

The post grips the drive square, which is fixed by standard at 6.35, 9.525 and 12.70 mm. Chrome or impact, shallow or deep, any maker.

Molded markings

Sizes are printed into the part in a second color. Nothing to peel off, nothing to wear away under a socket.

Cut to your drawer

A 4 mm base keeps long sockets clearing the shallowest PACKOUT drawer. Deeper drawer, taller posts. Your box, your numbers.

What should we make next?

Got a tool box with no insert, a drawer full of loose sockets, or a part on something you own that broke and can't be replaced? Send the model number. A good share of the line started that way.
